At The CryoLab, our MSK & Sports Therapy services focus on helping people move better, feel stronger, and recover properly, whether you’re dealing with pain, injury, or ongoing physical tension.
Led by our in-house MSK/Sports Therapist, treatments are assessment-led and personalised, using evidence-informed techniques to support recovery, rehabilitation, and long-term physical health.
Sports therapy isn’t just for athletes. It’s for anyone who uses their body — at work, in sport, or in everyday life.
Meet Your MSK/Sports Therapist
Dylan is our degree-qualified MSK/Sports Therapist with over five years of experience across clinical practice and elite sport. His background includes working with
professional football clubs and combat sports athletes, alongside treating everyday injuries and long-term pain conditions.
Dylan’s approach is practical, professional, and person-centred — taking the time to understand how you move, what’s contributing to your symptoms, and how best to support your recovery.
How MSK & Sports Therapy Works
Every session begins with an assessment, not a pre-set treatment.
This allows us to:
Treatment may involve hands-on therapy, movement-based rehabilitation, or a combination of techniques depending on your needs.
Techniques We May Use
Rather than offering fixed “packages”, we select techniques based on what will benefit you most.
These may include:
Sports & Deep Tissue Massage Used to reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and support recovery from training, work, or physical stress.
Muscle Scraping (IASTM) Instrument-assisted soft tissue work used to address restrictions, scar tissue, and movement limitations.
Acupuncture / Dry Needling Uses fine, single-use needles to target overactive muscles and pain pathways. Often used to support pain relief, muscle relaxation, and improved movement.
Cupping Therapy (Dry & Wet) Used as part of a modern MSK approach to support circulation, tissue mobility, and recovery. Dry cupping uses suction to lift soft tissue, supporting blood flow and muscle relaxation. Wet cupping is offered where appropriate and follows strict clinical protocols. Both methods are delivered with a recovery-focused, professional approach, not as alternative or holistic therapy.
Joint Mobilisation & Soft Tissue Techniques Hands-on techniques used to support joint movement, comfort, and function. Applied to support joints and muscles, improve movement awareness, and reduce strain during activity or recovery.
Rehabilitation & Exercise Prescription Targeted exercises and movement strategies to support long-term recovery, strength, and injury prevention.
Who Is MSK & Sports Therapy For?
This service is suitable for people who:
You don’t need to be an athlete to benefit — just someone who wants to move and feel better.
